Hydro Turbine Energy Generator
The Hydro, Solar, and Wind Energy Training System is a comprehensive educational setup designed to provide hands-on training in renewable energy generation and applications.
The system demonstrates the conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy using a compact Pelton wheel hydro turbine, equipped with digital voltage and current measurement, resistive loads such as bulbs and fans, and a transparent casing for observing turbine operation. It includes a 0.5 HP single-phase water pump, DC output, ammeter, voltmeter, and a 304-grade stainless steel water tank.
The solar module consists of a photovoltaic panel with protective cover, battery bank with sealed lead-acid battery, solar charge controller, inverter with remote control, junction boxes, bus bars, diversion and dump loads, a lockout/tagout module, and a projector lamp for solar simulation.
The wind module includes a microprocessor-controlled wind turbine generator driven by a DC motor, with a permanent magnet brushless synchronous generator, three-blade rotor, overspeed protection, DC motor controller, and a stop switch for safe operation.
The system comes with all necessary accessories, including safety plugs, banana plugs, and a 12 V DC battery charger, providing students with a complete, hands-on learning experience in renewable energy systems.
